Telecommunications Designer - TDS (4-8 yrs. exp.)

RTKL seeks an Engineer to join its Technology Design Sytems group located in the Washington DC Office.

Responsibilities

• Designs and chooses equipment and systems
• Prepares construction drawings and specifications
• Responsible for quality control on assigned projects
• Provides technical guidance to junior staff

• A college degree in a relevant field preferred
• 4-8 years of Technology Design experience
• Certifications such as CTS-D, RCDD, CPP preferred
• Working knowledge of BICSI and EIA/TIA industry standards
• Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects
• Maintains effective communication with project team members
• Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive relationships
• Experience with CAD/BIM
